Try out – a careful check of the function and sustainability of the tool

To ensure the quality and sustainability of our tools, a try-out is carried out on the assembled tool. A try-out is the process in our tool manufacturing when the tool is tested and adjusted. Completing a try-out before the tool is delivered to the customer contributes to our cost-effective tooling process and is a way to contribute to a more sustainable Swedish industry.

Every tool we manufacture undergoes a careful check. Before we even start the tool manufacturing process, we look at what you require from it, e.g. at what pressure the tool in question is to be run. We then carry out our try-out based on this. To carry out the try-out, we have three presses for tool testing with a press force of up to 630 tonnes.

The sheet produced by the tool is measured in a measuring machine and compared to the drawing and the digital version. If something fails to match the model, the tool is adjusted, and the process is then repeated until an acceptable result is achieved.
